With the rise of pollution, stress and hormonal changes, the problem of hairfall is now a big headache for most of the girls. Many girls as well as boys are facing this kind of frustration. Hair falling all around the house and a lot more stuffs questioning in your mind. Isn’t it?

Whenever you comb, shampoo or just touch your hair, a bunch of it just tangles in your fingers. Is this issue familiar to you??

I know what you may have going through.

In these busy and stressful days, we somehow forget to take care of our beautiful hair. But it is necessary to pamper them. Necessary to pamper each part of our body.

My friends used to ask me the cure for it. So, here I am with some tips to reduce hairfall. Do check out these and give time to your hair too. It needs you.

Some tips to reduce hairfall –

Always comb your hair

After an overnight sleep, your hair used to get tangle by the number of turns and sides you change. So, basically, it needs a comb. Comb your hair every day. And if you try two to three times a day, then it is a plus point to have some tangle-free hair. Combing helps your scalp to increase blood flow. The increased circulation brings with it more oxygen and nutrients, which nourish the hair roots and promote hair growth.AND also clean your comb twice a week. Keep it clean.

Oil massage

Have a hair spa for at least 20 minutes. Apply oil to hair twice a week. It is a must. It will condition your hair and keep it hydrated. Massage the olive oil or coconut oil or mustard oil into your scalp and hair gently and work it down to the tips of the hair. Steam your hair for 10 minutes over the pot of hot boiled water, by covering your hair with a towel over the pot. Make sure to do the steaming before applying oil to your hair.

Shampooing right

Do not change your shampoo. Use only one shampoo which suits your hair. The best shampoo so far for hair fall which I would recommend –

Make sure to shampoo your hair thrice a week. Most importantly, do not shampoo haphazardly, instead of shampoo like you just applying it. Check out the image and the steps below in order to know the right process to wash your hair.

  1. Thoroughly wet your hair.
  2. Lather a quarter size amount of shampoo in your palms and then work into your roots. You don’t need to shampoo the tips of your hair.
  3. Rinse out all of the shampoo.
  4. Then apply conditioner. It is a must.

Onion juice massage

Onion has got high amounts of sulphur which add thickness to your hair. Take a fresh onion and cut into halves. Then simply blend it and strain out the juice out of it with the help of a strainer. Add some coconut oil to the juice and apply that mix to your hair. Let it sit for 1 hour before you shampoo.

Avoid stress

Stress could be another reason for you to face hairfall. Taking stress increases this problem but let me tell you it is temporary. If you stop taking stress then you will see the reduction in hairfall. To lower the stress levels you can learn and practice relaxation techniques (such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga) regularly.


Applying henna which is known to be as “mehndi” could possibly reduce your hairfall. Apply mehndi once in three months. It also makes your hair healthy and free from dandruff. It has many benefits. Do give it a try.

Go for organic ….try this out –

Apply rice water

Rice water is an amazing ingredient. As it helps on skin, so also on your hair. The amino acids present in rice water, in particular, help in the regeneration of hair and aid faster growth of your hair. The process to make it is there in my previous post. You simply need to apply it on hair for 30 minutes and rinse it off.

Avoid heat

Sometimes overheat or over use of drier or straightening hair machines could make your hair to fall. Avoid using them often.

Seek Doctor

If nothing helps, seek a doctor. You never know you could be prone to any abnormality functioning in your body.

But just do not get stressed…do the above tips with much-needed care and discipline towards your hair. They need your pampering. 🙂
